Just Another Day at the Dog Park
My dog, Bones, loves going to the dog park (also known as the bark park). The bark park in Missoula, Montana has been one of his favorite places to go
since he has moved here. This bark park is called Jacobs Island Park. It is located right by the University of Montana. This park is located right by the Clark Fork River. It is a beautiful place, and has very scenic view of the mountains and the river.
Bones loves to go swimming in the river (when it is nice enough outside for him to not freeze). He loves being able to run around in the large open space. There are almost always other dogs at the park to play with. Bones loves to meet new friends. He is very friendly. Most of the other dogs at that go to this park are very friendly as well. Bones really likes to run around with the dogs that he meets. He often will find sticks around the park, and bring them to me for me to throw for him. He loves to play fetch. Here is Bones (pictured on the right) taking a short break while at the bark park.
The other day we went to the bark park, and Bones met a few new friends. They were running around, playing, and having a fun time. One of the dogs that Bones met was a female Pit bull named Betsy. I think it was love at first sight for both of them. We went back the next day to see if Betsy was there again, but she wasn’t. Maybe we will see her again another day. I know that Bones would love it if we did see her again. I will let you all know if we do.
